“This is not journalism, this is not bad journalism, this is straight-up propaganda.”

One could also use the word “lying,” yes?

Thanks very much for sharing this and informing us about how far from truth are the Fox pieces.

Kirk Cameron actively manipulates the coverage of his events. He knew he would need more seating, yet he asked for a very small room. This way he could claim to be the victim when they told him his group was too big for the venue they rented. He did the same thing in Indianapolis in December, adding the claim that he was being discriminated because of his "skin color." He also reported a crowd of 2500 when the library counted 750 and complained that he wasn't given a bigger space. The event was privately put on by his publisher and they got the space they rented. https://www.wishtv.com/news/local-news/actor-kirk-cameron-reads-new-book-at-indianapolis-public-library/

Here's reporting on Kirk Cameron's complaint of racism before the event was held. I assume this was to gin up outrage and pull in a large crowd. Library world (I'm a librarian, but not at IMCPL) was shocked yet unsurprised that a person who basically self-published a book got mad when a library didn't treat them like a VIP. Also note that the library purchased copies before the event because there was patron interest. Libraries are like that: Everyone gets to read what they want. https://www.wishtv.com/news/local-news/christian-childrens-author-kirk-cameron-alleges-racial-religious-discrimination-by-indypl/

Did Booker and her allies have any type of a handout? M4L is starting to show up at local school board meetings here and ask to speak. Several organizations are organizing people to show up and speak in opposition to them. I’m not sure exactly what M4L will say or propose at these meetings.

Here is some good info on them

I kept checking for local news updates because I live just over 10 miles from the Madison library. Because I know the parking lot size and location I decided not to attend!

‘Hokey-toot!’ as a friend used to say. This sounds like science fiction!

This. Right. Here: "And remember, conflict sells. Trust me, I know."

"protect their grandchildren’s future" - As a parent of 3, God has taught me that only He can protect our children (Psalm 121). He is The Protector.

We live in a broken world and it is impossible for parents to protect their children from every assault. Only God can do this. For us to abrogate that promise of God is to deny our faith in Him. The Liberty Mom phenomena is not some righteous expression of faith, it is quite the opposite. It serves a political end and nothing more.
