I am in Oakland, CA for another week and a half. Is there any way to get it screened out here? Or, could it be brought to Holland, MI so I can see it there when I get back :)

Praying for a prophetic and powerful impact.

I'm so excited about this film release, Kristin. . I'll be in Washington DC with my pal Rob Schenck to see it with him and his wife, Cheryl this coming Friday evening. We go back many years and have Western NY connections. Rob's already told us that there will be some reporters hanging with us. Our little gathering will go to a local bar/grill to hang out after the showing and necessary reporter time, for our own little "after watch" party.

Kristin, sorry to come off kind of salepitchy and whitemaleish at the talkback. You were kind and patient. The substack below is an apology, not an advertisement :)

92% in 24 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Had the theater to myself and found it very provocative today. Lots to process...

Kristen, do you have any movie reviews yet that you have seen for God and Country. I am going to the showing today in Holland and will try to stop by again at 3:30 PM tomorrow

Two thoughts. Our church justice group watched God and Country in the Chicago area yesterday and it is really well done, many important insights. Thank you! Secondly, a comment about the discussion around the defense of evangelicalism. Relating to the character of God. When an individual is seeking God and calling out for help, God will show mercy to that person. If all that person has is Kenneth Copeland, or going to Lourdes, or a megachurch pastor, or KLOVE radio, or whatever, God will not turn away from that person because of their following of a leader or community that is manipulative or abusive or just has some seriously messed up interpretations of the Bible. God is still listening to the cries of all people who are afraid, troubled, hurting. He will also judge those who are manipulating those people and taking their money and causing harm.
