This is such a needed and simultaneously terrifying article. Thank you for putting the truth out there. Hopefully more people will recognizing what is happening before it is too late. As a former IBLP Gothard homeschooler, it feels like my old cult members are taking over the world like they always wanted to. 😭
Kristin, do you like it enough to "restack" it or cross post it? Make the idea of "flipping the ticket" yours somehow. I don't really care whose idea it might be if it could save our Democracy (I know that sound melodramatic but "tis the season" for melodrama).
Just listened to the Wolfe clip. Very similar to how Douglas Murray put it, claiming that the "non hyphenated" now have no place of their own, to enjoy their culture. I fear this will sound totally fair and uncontroversial to the Newsmax crowd. He's a wolf indeed.
Good article. The notion of the US as the “shining city on a hill” has always been a fantasy but I suppose there was a time prior to my political awakening in the mid 60’s that I believed it to be true. It really became a farce for me when McGovern lost 49 of the 50 states to Nixon in 1972. Nothing that is happening now with Trump comes as a surprise to me. This is what the US has always been.
Some people may need some resources and a little guidance to effectively reach family and friends in a way that can make a difference. Heather Cox Richardson had 40K people show up today for this hour long program on FB & Zoom https://fb.watch/tlv4ommOjw/?mibextid=w8EBqM with Katie Paris of https://redwine.blue/troublenation/ to discuss how to take back democracy, inform others about Project 2025 and use relational organizing to organize resistance groups, inform friends and family and help get out the vote.

This is fairly accurate.
I like your comment because there isn’t a crying button. It makes me so sad and angry.
It's time to take the Republicans by surprise and for Biden to "flip the ticket"

More thoughts on a "flip" hours before Trump's speech.

Thank you, Kristin. This is well-timed for me today.
Applause!!!
Exceptional as always.

There are numerous resources in their toolkit.
