As a Dordt alum I am also pleased to see they kept the rules the same for Trump. Small mercies.

Bravo to Dordt, now if only the media would ignore him.

Thanks for paying attention! This may seem like a small thing, but it is not. Just think of how many small things could really make a difference in the election of 2024 and our future democracy!

I've been wondering the very same question recently, " Or, is this exactly what this moment calls for?" I've long held the belief that DT represents a judgement on America and the evangelical church. I'll look forward to that thoughtful voice you mentioned in the coming weeks and months.

Rest assured my friend, I am thinking and praying daily for our nation and for you and all people of conscience. We are at a pivotal moment for sure, and the world is watching. May God continue to give us strength and help us restore justice to our nation.

Another great entry. Like you, I wonder what might have happened if more had been brave enough to stand up to Trump in 2016. Like you, I hope it is not too late.

I’m sad to see there don’t seem to be any protestors this year (from what I can tell from the photos.) All of us standing in the cold holding signs that last time in 2016 have moved away since. How could we stay? It’s so sad. I loved six years living in Sioux Center but I could not raise my children in a place that celebrates this man.

Dordt made a decision to not contribute to airing debauchery again. Hopefully the Hollandale Minnesota Christian Reformed Church concurred.
