Now on my 3rd journey through your J&JW, I was reminded of an article that a friend had shared with me in the early summer of 2016 that spoke of the rise of WWE and WWF. Ardent supports piled billions into an empire built on giving people what they wanted; violence, extravagance, glitz and glamour in the form male "athletes" in fake, staged performances. Those extremes, as well as the nuances, gave the author reason for primal fear in the idea that Trump could actually win and it may not even be close. I don't know that PRRI has any data on that but I suspect there are several intersects with Christian Nationalism.
