Destroying the church and other things I've been up to

After a wonderful couple of days in Waco, TX, last week, I had a full 1 1/2 hours at home before I left for Chicago, but this time with my two girls for a little end-of-winter-break respite. Chicago smiled upon us with an unseasonably warm and sunny couple of days and we made the most of them—
Thank you for your words here. I also enjoyed watching the video of Beth Allison Barr & you speaking at Baylor!
I just finished reading (actually listening) to Beth Moore’s new book. I couldn’t stop listening. Of course the CN theobros have been acting out the past few days. I expect her appearances and book sales will far exceed theirs. That causes white hot rage I guess. Not coincidentally, I read that the SBC decided to defellowship Saddleback and other churches welcoming ordained women today. Yes, one congregation was punished for enabling sex abuse. However, the main thrust was to punish those who won’t deny women access to roles of leadership. The theobros and seminary leaders are providing a master class in deception, distraction, and misdirection in real time in response of Beth Moore AND you.
Blondes (why does that always imply women?) only apparently sinful in some white Christian circles if you raise questions.
The whole Eve thing, rings so corollary to the woman caught in adultery without a man being caught with her. As I read the story of the temptation and fruit in Genesis it says Adam was right there. So was he being polite and letting the lady go first? Was he waiting to see if she dropped dead before taking the risk of eating? Was he setting up plausible deniability for himself by letting Eve take the lead?
Thank you for sharing information and raising questions that if dealt with can go far to strengthening the church and it's witness in the world.
I will buy a t-shirt that says “perfect catnip for the Christian nationalist boys” if you sell them.
Sure glad you are speaking out! You are brave and I'm glad to support you.

only, now start on the Catholic Church and the odiousness of the controlling priesthood. Kristen, take it to the next level.
